President’s Message February 2026

Greeting Sisters and Brothers,

The next regular meeting of the Electrical Welfare Club will be held on Tuesday,

February 17^th, 2026 in the Balcony Lounge of the JIB Auditorium at 5 PM.  Food and beverages will be served at that time. Our club coordinator, Executive board member David Hochman will provide details of new developments within the industry. Questions will be welcomed. This month’s guest speakers will be Pat Moquin from the executive board and Sascha Swanson from the examining board.

  This month marks the 40^th Anniversary of the passing of our former Business Manager and great Labor Leader Harry Van Arsdale Jr. (November 23, 1905 – February 16, 1986).  We should all take a moment to reflect on his life and his continuing influence on all our lives.

   Club Dues are due every January. As you know we use the dues to support all the yearly activities. If you have not yet mailed your check please come down to the next meeting and pay in person.  

 Our annual Passover Seder will be held March 24^th, 2026 at the Plainview Jewish Center.  If you have attended in the past you know what a wonderful event it is and if you have yet to attend then there is no better time than now. Please see attached flyer for more information.
