Dear Sisters and Brothers,

I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday season.  I would like to wish everyone a very happy and healthy and prosperous New Year.

  The next regular meeting of the Electrical Welfare Club will be held on Tuesday January 20,2026  in the Balcony Lounge of the JIB Auditorium at 5 PM.  Food and beverages will be served at that time. Our club coordinator, Executive Board Member David Hochman will provide details of new developments within the industry. Questions will be welcomed. This month’s guest speaker will be our new Business Manager, Christopher Erickson Jr.  Please come down and show your support.

 Last month the club held its annual Hanukkah party. I would like to thank everyone who came out early to help setup and make it great success. I would like to thank our chef Executive Board Member David Hochman for all his help in the kitchen and Eric Farbman for taking care of the toys and a big thanks to Eric’s wife Alana for reading the story of Hanukkah to all the kids.   

Save the date for annual Passover Seder which will be held on March 24, 2026 at the Plainview Jewish Center. (See attached flyer) Please come out and help make this a wonderful event.

EWC Dues are due every January. As we all know dues are one of the few methods that the club uses to raise funds to help support all the Electrical Welfare Club’s yearly activities. Dues are $40 per member and if you are a cemetery member, please add a separate check for $18 per member or $36 per couple. Please mail your payment to Financial Secretary Eric Farbman  13 Maple Lane Massapequa Park, NY 11762.

If you haven’t mailed your dues please attend this month to make your payment in person.
