Dear Sisters and Brothers, November 2025
The next regular meeting of the Electrical Welfare Club will be held on Tuesday November 18th, 2025, in the Balcony Lounge of the JIB Auditorium at 5 PM. Hot food will be served at that time. At this special meeting, as always in November, we will have our Memorial Service, where we will honor family, members and friends of the EWC that have passed away in the last year. Our club coordinator, Executive Board Member David Hochman, will be on hand to provide us with details of the new developments within our industry. Questions will be welcomed.
On October 26th, 2025, the EWC held our 61st Annual Awards & Scholarship Breakfast. This year’s honoree was Robert Ball, Director of Investments of the JIB of The Electrical Industry. Our rank-and-file honoree was EWC Board Member Kevin Liebowitz. We were so happy to present this award to Kevin who truly deserves it. Congratulations to our Scholarship winner Sean Epstein & his family. Special thanks to Breakfast Chairman, Vice President Joe Jaffe, Financial Secretary Eric Farbman, and Jill Rotondaro, & all the members who came out to help make this Breakfast a huge success. Thank you to all members, their families & our friends who attended the event, without your continued support it could not have been such a success.
Our Annual Raffle fundraiser was a big success. I want to thank board member Paul Newfeld for doing a great job as always handling our raffle. Each raffle’s 3-digit number coincides with the Evening Win 3 Lottery number for New York State in the month of November. If your ticket wins you will win $100. The same ticket can win more than once. Raffle Chairman Paul Newfeld will be keeping track of all the winning numbers. Thank you to everyone that has supported the club through purchasing these raffles. We hope to have 30 winners, and I wish all of you good luck.
The EWC will host our Annual Hanukah party December 14, 2025. Vice President Joe Jaffe will speak about the party at our upcoming meeting. Please be in attendance to sign up and give your children’s or grandchildren’s name and age at the upcoming meeting. (See enclosed flier) There will be no December meeting, so please come and enjoy the party.
