Wishing you a very Happy, Healthy and Sweet New Year! Hope you had an easy fast & hope your summer was memorable!  Thank you to all who attended our Annual Fishing Trip on Aug 8^th.  It was a great day on the water.  Thank you to Bro. Dave Hochman and Bro. Eric Farbman for all their help with that event.

This September 11^th marks the 20^th Anniversary of the horrific event of 9-11-2001 and I want to remember our 17 Brothers from Local Union No. 3 IBEW as well as our 4 Brothers from Local 1212 IBEW that were murdered that day as well as the nearly 3,000 people who went to work that day expecting to go home to their families and friends that never did. I want to also remember the 20 members of Local Union No. 3 IBEW who passed away since that horrible day due to 9-11-01 related illnesses and all that are still suffering.  Please keep them and their families in your thoughts and prayers as well.

The LI Educational Center in Cutchogue is open again for the weekend Critical Thinking Seminars. The Electrical Welfare Club was not assigned a specific weekend however we are all welcome to attend any of the remaining weekends based on availability. There are important Covid-19 requirements that must be met.  Anyone of the age of 12 & older must be fully vaccinated and all children 3-11 yrs old must have a negative Covid test within 72 hours of your arrival date. Masks will be required indoors except when you are eating and drinking. You are welcome to arrive on Fri as early as 10 AM to enjoy the North Fork.

Unfortunately, the Electrical Welfare Club’s Annual Scholarship Breakfast has been canceled this year due to the continued concerns of the rising Covid-19 cases in the NYC Tri-state area.

It is our hope that we do return to our regular in person General Membership meetings very soon, but we certainly keep everyone’s health and safety as the number 1 priority.   Congrats to Bro. Todd Dobrin on receiving the IBEW Life Saving Award.

Local Union No. 3 IBEW Dues of $271 for ‘A’ Charter Members must be paid by September 30^th, 2021
