Greeting Sisters and Brothers,                                                               

The next regular General Membership Meeting of the Electrical Welfare Club will be held on Tuesday November 15th, 2022, in the Balcony Lounge of the Electric Industry Center Auditorium. Food and
beverages will be served at 5 PM and the meeting will begin at 5:45 PM

You must enter through the main entrance of the Electric Industry Center at 158-11 Harry Van Arsdale Jr.
Ave.

At this special meeting, as always in November, we will have our Memorial Service led by Rabbi Graber,
where we will honor members, family, and friends of the EWC that have passed away since last year.

Please contact Corresponding Secretary Michelle Sirotic at misirotic1019@gmail.com if you would like the Rabbi to include names of your family members or EWC members or friends of the Electrical Welfare Club who have passed away.

We will also have as a Guest Speaker, Benjamin Arana, Business Representative of Local Union No. 3 IBEW,
to talk about his responsibilities and share with us what is happening in the Bronx where he represents us.

Our Club Coordinator, Local Union No. 3 IBEW Executive Board Member, David Hochman will provide
details of new developments within the industry. Questions will be welcomed.

On October 30th, 2022, the EWC held our 58th Annual Awards & Scholarship Breakfast. This year’s
Honoree was Louis Alvarez, Vice President, Local Union No. 3 IBEW. Our Club’s Service Award Honoree was our Former President, Steven Sadofsky. We were so happy to present the award to Steve who truly
deserved it. Congratulations to our two scholarship winners, Matthew Deutscher, my son, and Max Epstein,
son of EWC member Bro. Eric Epstein. Special thanks to our Breakfast Chairperson, Vice President Gary
Marks, and his entire committee for doing an outstanding job. Thank you to all our members, their families and our friends who attended our Breakfast, without your continued support it would not have been
such a success.

Our Annual Raffle fundraiser is under way. Thank you to everyone that has supported our Club through the purchasing and selling of these raffles. We hope to have 30 winners and I wish all of you good luck. Thank
you to our Raffle Chairperson, Bro. Paul Newfeld and everyone that helped with our Fundraiser this year.

Our Annual Hanukah Party will be held on Sunday, December 18th, 2022, from 11 AM till 3 PM in the EIC Auditorium.

Our Hannukah Party is for All Our Members and their families, and I hope that you can attend this year.  Chairperson Joe Jaffe will speak about the party at our upcoming meeting. Please be in attendance to sign
up at the meeting. (See enclosed flier)

On behalf of all the Officers and Board of Directors, I want to acknowledge and thank all our Veterans who have served in our nation’s Armed Forces. Let us pause to pay our respects and show our gratitude on Veteran’s Day, Friday November 11th.

I would like to also wish you and your family a very Happy & Healthy Thanksgiving filled with wonderful memories.

Club Dues are due. We need your Dues to support all the EWC yearly activities. Regular member Dues are $40. Cemetery Members are $18 per person in a separate check made out to EWC Cemetery Fund.

If you have made any changes to your home address, home phone number, cell phone number and or your email address please let us know. It is so important to let us know of these changes. Please make every effort to attend our next meeting as we pay respect to all those we have lost.
