Greeting Sisters and Brothers,

This Sunday, December 18^th, the Electrical Welfare Club will be hosting our Annual Hanukkah Party in the EIC Auditorium.  The party is 11 AM – 3 PM. The set up begins at 8 AM. This party is for all EWC members and family.  We hope that you can join us as we celebrate the festival of light. We need volunteers for the Set up and afterwards for the cleanup so please try to help. Thank you to everyone that has helped support this wonderful event through your donations.

The Holiday Lighting Celebration in Electchester will also be held on Sunday, December 18^th, 2022, at 5 PM in the First Housing Courtyard, 161^st Street & Harry Van Arsdale Jr. Ave. We will be lighting the large Menorah for the first night of Hanukkah. Please join us if you can.  There will be refreshments served.

There will not be a EWC meeting on Tuesday, December 20^th.

The next regular General Membership Meeting of the Electrical Welfare Club will be held on Tuesday, January 17^th, 2023.

At our January meeting, we will have as a Guest Speaker, Erica Vinas, Nutritionist and Diabetes Educator who works at the JIB Medical Department to talk to us about making simple changes in our lives towards a healthier lifestyle and a better self for 2023. So please put this date on your calendar.

Our Annual Raffle fundraiser has finished. Thank you to everyone that has supported our Club through the purchasing and selling of these raffles. Congratulations to all our Winners. Thank you to our Raffle Chairperson, Bro. Paul Newfeld and everyone that helped with our Fundraiser this year.

In the coming days, we usher in a new year, and our Club will be entering our 100^th year as a recognize affiliated Club of Local Union No. 3 IBEW.  We hope to celebrate all year long including a Big Gala in the Spring and other exciting events are in the planning stages. 

We thank you all for your continued support of our Club and we hope you will be a big part of our Club next year and the many years to come.

On behalf of all the Officers, Board of Directors, Advisory Committee, and our Club Coordinator, I want to wish you and your family a very Happy & Healthy & Joyous Hanukkah and a Happy, Healthy, and prosperous New Year.
