Greeting Sisters and Brothers,

The next regular meeting of the Electrical Welfare Club will be held on Tuesday, February 16^th, 2021 via Zoom at 7 PM. At this month’s meeting the Officers & Board of Directors will be installed to their new positions by our Business Manager Christopher Erikson. Our Club Coordinator Retired Assistant Business Manager Elliot Hecht will provide details of new developments within the industry. As always questions will be welcomed.

On Tuesday January 19^th, 2021 final nominations were held for the Officer & Board of Director positions for our club. The new slate of Officers and Board Members ran unopposed and 1 ballot was cast to elect the new slate for a 3 year term. Congratulate to the newly elected Officers & Board Members. On that note this will be my last newsletter as Club President. It has been an honor and privilege to represent the members of the Electrical Welfare Club as President. I would like to thank all the members that helped by being present at our meeting and attending our events and for adding to our club’s success during my tenure.  

February 16^th, 2021 will mark the 35^th anniversary of the passing of Harry Van Arsdale Jr., Labor’s Champion. Let us all take some time to think about Harry and all of the great benefits we enjoy, thanks to his leadership, vision and foresight. As it has been mentioned, a great way to honor Harry and help keep his legacy alive is to join the Harry Van Arsdale Jr. Memorial Society.
