President’s Letter June 2014

June 2014

Greetings Sisters and Brothers,

Please take note of the special time, date and place of the June Meeting. The next regular meeting of the Electrical Welfare Club will be held on Wednesday, June 11th, 2014 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage at 5:15 PM. The museum is located at 36 Battery Place, New York, NY 10280 (in lower Manhattan) Kosher Food and beverages will be served. This special meeting is being partially subsidized by the club and will only cost $25.00 per person to attend. Please see the enclosed flyer for details and call to make your reservation to attend this very special meeting.

I’d like to thank Local 3 IBEW business Representative, Anthony Falleo for taking time out of his busy schedule to address the members of our club and for his informative report at our May meeting.

This will be our last club meeting before our summer break. Although we will not meet over the summer months we do have events taking place. Please see upcoming activities below. I hope you take the opportunity to partake in some of these get-togethers, especially our Annual Muscular Dystrophy Picnic on July 26th, 2014 where we will truly need your help and you have a chance to help those less fortunate than we are.

Reminder, be sure that your OSHA 10, Scaffolding and Global Harmonized System courses are up to date so that you don’t find yourself unemployable on any particular jobsite.
