The next regular General Membership Meeting of the Electrical Welfare Club will be held on Tuesday December 17th, 2024, in the Balcony Lounge of the Electric Industry Center Auditorium. Food and beverages will be served at 5 PM and the meeting will begin at 6 PM
You must enter through the main entrance of the Electric Industry Center at 158-11 Harry Van Arsdale Jr. Ave.
Our Club Coordinator, Local Union No. 3 IBEW Executive Board Member, David Hochman will provide details of new developments within the industry. Questions will be welcomed.
We will also have 2nd Nominations for our Club Elections as well.
Our Annual Hanukkah Party will be held on Sunday, December 22nd, 2024, from 11 AM till 2 PM in the EIC Auditorium. We will need Volunteers to help with the set-up, gift wrapping, food preparation and more. This starts at 8 AM. Then we need help with the clean-up afterwards at 2 PM.
Our Hanukkah Party is for All Our Members and their families, and I hope that you can attend this year.
Our Annual Raffle fundraiser has finished. Thank you to everyone that has supported our Club through the purchasing and selling of these raffles. Congratulations to all our Winners. You will be contacted. Thank you to our Raffle Chairperson, Bro. Paul Newfeld, Bro. Joe Jaffe, and Sister Jackie Hecht and everyone that helped with our Club Fundraiser this year.
As we close out 2024 and our 101st year as a Club, I want to thank everyone for your continued support of our Club and your support of Local 3. It is so important that we stay strong and continue to be an important part of our industry. It starts with you. Attend our Club meetings and events, attend Sister club functions representing our Club, Volunteer when asked to step up, attend monthly Union meetings, sign up to be an E-Activist and receive the Rank-and-File Newsletter, and Be a Mentor. Thank you to everyone who volunteered your time this year when asked. Thank you to our Officers and Board of Directors for all you do to ‘Light the Way for Others’ Thank you to our newest members of our Club, I hope that you continue to come to meetings and get more involved. Our Club will always hold a special and important place in the history of our Local and I look forward to that continuing with you. Here’s to our 102nd Year!!!
